Enjoy Turkish genuine food in Gothenburg

We have been frequent customers for over two years. I usually buy Ali Nazik Adana and my wife Ali Nazik Tavuk Sis. When we first started we were impressed with the quality of the food. The meat was moist & evenly cooked and the complimentary bread was fresh & warm. Unfortunately for the last 12 months the standard has dropped. The bread is usually dry and old. Sometimes for takeaway we don't get bread at all. The chicken is sometimes dry. Also the food is not kept warm for takeaway so by the time we get home it's usually cold. Prior to Covid we would take friends visiting from London & Australia there as it was one of the best in the area. Unfortunately we won't be doing that now as Sultan has become just a bit better than average. For our next grill we will go to Divan.

3 of 5 One of the best places in gbg to eat. You should get more salad with the food or that you can pick it up yourself. I previously gave 4.7 out of 5 but now I lower it to 3 out of 5 because I, who is a regular at the place, see that it is clearly starting to go down in both the quality of the food and the wrong food sent out. Staff who complain when they themselves have made a mistake are completely unacceptable. If I order my favorite right every time and I know exactly what I eat and what kind of piece of meat it is, you can not when you send out the wrong piece of meat try to convince me that it is right. Sharpening must take place immediately.

Good food. God kebab. A little tasteless rice and potatoes, but you can then salt yourself as desired. Friendly staff. Get 3 due to the expensive price and a bit for what I mentioned earlier.

Probably one of the best place I've eaten in a while. Good portions and amazing flavours. I devoured my my food so fast. I need to come back so I can take my time and enjoy it more.

Lunch in the picture. Ordered skewers but got tasteless and cheap chicken. Or maybe got meat. At least tasted nothing.

Tested on mix plate during lunch time. Poor quality & cheap meat. Salty, tasteless & dry meat, chicken kebabs that are burnt! Ok salad buffet, boring bread. Crowded & noisy environment, lots of people, children carriages and disturbing children. Instead of making the area bigger for regular guests, remove the cluttered "VIP" room that is right next door. Also cold room as soon as someone goes in or out. 109: - for buffet + drink. There is no alternative to remove the drink and the price should then be 99: -. 0/5 if possible. Spend your money at another Orient restaurant nearby like te.x lilla-istanbull or pardis.

Nice Turkish (halal) food in Gothenburg! Best/mouth watering grilled meat that you should try. Good quality, nice ambiance and staff, good service. Usually over the weekend you will find that it is quite crowded but you can avoid that going off peak hours. Indoor as well as outdoor seating is acialble. Non covid safe seating. We had a great time. Service was on point. They served timely and we didn't have to wait. Meat was grilled perfectly, juicy and with flavour, warm. Lamb was at the right temperature without getting greasy to taste.

No strange, rather tasteless pastry. Totally okay coffee but when not stated is included and the staff does not even know what it means so it can not be better than this rating.

Good food but a bit sad that staff do not know Turkish when you get the impression that they are Turks ? as only Turkish songs are played and are Turkish dishes

They also provide free take away boxes. Staff behave really nice. Attend to you very quickly. Not sure how it will be when the restaurant is full. Overall it was a good dining experience at Sultan Grill.

The meals are few in comparison with the high prices. You need an extra meal to feel full. Even soup has to be paid for. . ... Turkish bread is ok .. drinks are expensive, especially yogurt .. There is a buzz in the restaurant that does not feel comfortable and calm. Staff is very nice.

AMBITIOUS TURKISH RESTAURANT IN GOTHENBURG A trip to Gothenburg should definitely be spiced up with a visit to the authentic Turkish restaurant @ sultangrill.se, which serves barbecue specialties and quality desserts. The restaurant is located about 3 km from the center across the water in some beautiful rooms with many visitors, where there may be a wait to get a table if you have not reserved. The menu is reasonably wide, where you can choose many different combinations for several people. We spotted the Sultan's Table for 4 people being served in baked bread. The court contains i.a. Tenderloin, Chops, Adana Kebap and Etli Ekmek. However, there is no ‘meze’ next to it other than a small salad, which is a bit of a bad style. For dessert we chose the Turkish specialty Künefe with ice cream and Baklava came at the expense of the house. For drinking, we chose Salgam, which seemed a little diluted with water. The service and service are very friendly, while the prices are reasonable. In total we paid 1083 SEK, which corresponds to 792 DKK, Sultan Grill is a commendable restaurant that serves delicious Turkish specialties of high quality. The meat is very tender and delicious, which is grilled on charcoal. The amount should be greater. Although the food was good, we were more in love with the dessert, which was magnificent and a taste experience that appeals to the delicate taste buds. This crunchy dessert was so delicious that we went up to meet the man behind this artistic craft, where we learned that he had just come to Sweden from the gastronomic city of Gaziantep, which made sense around the good taste. If we had just reviewed the dessert, our rating would be at least 5 stars.

Wonderful restaurant, super cozy, good location, parking in front, has another parking option for customers (free), super attentive staff with great service. Spectacular food, a basket of fresh bread still hot as a starter (courtesy of the house) and super tasty dishes, and at the end there is still tea as a courtesy. Everything perfect, note 10.

Restaurant is always full of people. And very loud noise. The food is very good and large menu which is both + / _. Children's menu available. The food does not take that long Prices are a little more expensive. Toilet there is free parking The staff is very friendly and talented.

Definitely THE worst food ever ?. At first when they seated us down, the table and floor very dirty. We had to inform them about that. I was happy to go there because of the pictures and videos I saw, but after this experience never again. The service lady was very good. Thats it.

Excellent food and service. Much better than Lilla Istanbul. I recommend everyone to try out this restaurant. The way they serve you the food was luxury and the food was very warm. Price is not the cheapest but you wont regret it.
